apparently it’s also possible to work like a dawg for an entire week and not get much accomplished. lord i’m tired. can’t even sit up straight to see fully through the rear view mirror on the drive home after a day of cubby-holing.

but i got a venti cafe mocha this morning. yieah baby.

i’d just like to say, for the record, that

1 – for someone who absolutely hates answering the phone at home (screen ‘em all i say), me left ear is glued to the handset practically all day now. and that’s amusing to me.

2 – cute guy at lunch today. yummy. i like the occasional eye candy.

3 – ooooo am i so behind. at work, in school, every so often in life. and yet. whatevers.

4 – shit, outta time. …!!!

i think part of the reason i’m so in love with riddick flick #2 is due to them borrowing oh-so-heavily from macbeth. crazy over the top. good times.

casino royale: seen twice. it’s that good and he’s that hot. hooray for rough-hewn grit. thanks to martin campbell, me gray matter’s got plenty of character layers to sift through. i’ll be occupied for a while and that’s good to know.

not a die-hard fan of pasta though i do enjoy the occasional plate of penne. spaghetti n red sauce. alfredo. the usuals. that said, green street does excellent pasta. at least, my black shrimp linguine was perfectly olive oiled. tasted good even when it got cold. and oh, much love for fresh tomatos versus sun-dried.

back in college, i spent hours upon hours wandering the aisles of the local tower records. also spent lord knows how much money building my collection of cds. it’s truly a great place to get lost in if you’re a music junkie. sadly, they’re closing down. boo. managed to snatch 3 soundtracks, the first FF movie, and cops cartoon dvd set today. a bittersweet purchase.

it’s also totally possible to pass a milestone — and still be ten paces behind the rest of the world. ooo the feeling of stupidity…how prickly is thee.

—————————————————–

so now i’ve reached a line drawn in the dust. to cross or not to cross. at the crux of it all is figuring out if it’s worth the effort to cross that line. for the first time, i’m recognizing that there is even a line at all. something normal for once that my mind comprehends. and i think my pre-determined answer is no.

—————————————————–

i hate hyphen lines.

the end.

giving up my weekends SUCK. all that work, minimal appreciation, plenty of resulting headaches. endless eye strain. do they even realize that me arse can’t sit still for extended periods because, hello, soreness.

complaining again. as per usual. and because it feels right to do so.

current recipient of the most ass-backwards good news in a while. something to do with grades. hee-laree-us.

so yieah.

how is it possible to be cubby-holing full time and yet still not have cash on hand? i don’t go anywhere. the only things i’ve bought are the usual foodies and a copy of the calendar (which hasn’t even arrived yet!!!!!). i’m ready for my french manicure now. punks!!

i love that people will never stop talking about star wars. love it or hate it. death to jarjar or not. i’m in love with that passion for this story as much as the story itself.

or lack of story. uh…yieah….

dammit i want to take a long, hot shower before doing homework.

cousin t got the wireless net chugging. and all i wanna do is finish watching riddick 2 on the mousebot. making sense is for boring people!

it’s possible to be aggravated

aprehensive
annoyed
excited
desperate
competent
drained

all at the same time.

too many things to do.

today in review:
- ipod shuffled me collective soul, aerosmith’s walk this way, and sephiroth this morning. an excellent wake-up call on the drive to the cubby hole.
- i am getting better at the tech supporting thingie. i kinda get what’s going on now. enough so that i can nod my head and act like i actually do know what’s going on.
- black suvs suck. black suvs that speed and don’t turn on their headlights at night FUCKING SUCK. i hate you all.
- working on digging myself out of the hole. i’m always working on digging myself out of some hole.
- arseholes who call up asking for a job and then refusing to send in a resume because they say they are over-qualified will get their faces smashed in the next time i see them on the street. you not wanting to send in a resume doesn’t bug so much as your rude attitude.

there are certain people in my life i daydream of telling off. slap the whole nine yards of their hypocrisy and ridiculousness in their face. and i wonder why i don’t. i wonder if it’s because i care about maintaining that delicate balance between family relations even though i think you are utterlly lame as a person. or maybe i’m just too lazy to want to deal with the consequences of upsetting idiots who have easily ignited tempers based in completely ludicrous assumptions. i wonder about this stuff all the time and, as time moves on, i’ll forget about wanting to slap them upside the head. then they’ll do something so insulting that the whole issue reignites and i go back to general distrust of people. excuse me while i renew the faith by watching something kick-ass like a riddick movie.

splatter:

1 – this one lameass attacked me something like fifty times in a row in londi2. the result being that he raised my win/lose ratio, gave me massive xp, and helped me up one character level. thanks for the free ride, ha!
2 – for the first time since ever, i am depressed over having to drop a class. sad in many ways. it all comes down to how i’m way too farkin pooped from full-time work, full-time tech/translator support, four other classes, and no time for photoshop/londi. so getting up early to exercise has now gotten the boot. sux.
3 – weather here in l.a. is wack. 90 fucking degrees in november. november ferchrissakes.
4 – first ever calendar for sale. i ordered my copy already and you should too!
5 – read people, read. cuz it’s about dreamfall and cuz shigeru miyamoto is totally, like, a god. yieah.

guilty pleasure: girls next door
getting: chunkay from sitting in my cubby all day
hair: frizzed. ah crap.
need: rain. for free washing of filthy, filthy car.
bizarre: sore left eye. again, who punched me?!?!

so. i started with an obsession of true hauntings and then fell into high/alternate fantasy. scifi was always a fringe interest and, when it comes to books, it still somewhat is. somewhere in the past five years though i’ve developed a taste for punk rock, hardcore scifi. dune is soft in comparison to diamond age and riddick. it’s like discovering a whole new world simply because of a change in perspective.

posting from work is so a waste of company time.

yieah but
1 – i almost ran over a peacock this morning. out of the morning mists, it charged right onto the right lane. WTF?!
2 – rolling fog, pale and white, misty mountains, so sexy.
3 – did somebody punch my left eye when i wasn’t looking? it’s…sore. very odd.
