despite protests to the contrary, i really am a work-a-holic. at least once every evening (even on the weekends dammit!), i’ve to quash an urge to call up the boy and ask him to drop me off a half-hour early for the work day. wtf. the rational, reasonable part of me knows that the workload will never diminish, that anything checked off is only temporary and will be quickly replaced by some other heinous deadline, and of course, they don’t pay enough nor treat me well enough to be so dedicated. can’t help it though, it’s just within my nature. i’m not harried about homework or housework, just werk-work. ew. so disgusting.
