stink bugs are creepy because they buzz and click their wings. zooming about emitting non-stop insectoid sounds that also echo (dammit) because they like to keep near the ceiling.
and now i’m torn about whether if i wanna take a look inside the upturned shade of my torchiere. with a 250 watt bulb, it’s fucking bright up there — bright enough to attract the little shits and also HOT enough to burn the suckers with a sizzling sound. burn to a crisp. pretty sure of that. since there’s always a deep silence after they fly into the light. it’s a stinkbug graveyard up there. from october till now, i’ve heard at least 3 such sizzles. EW.
