when i was a kid, if someone were to come up to me and say “wax on, wax off”, i’d be all fuck yieah, myagi-do karate!!!. maybe it’s my upbringing. grew up with the awesomeness of myagi-san ingrained in my brain from the parentals — not because he’s a japanese karate sensei blah blah blah, but because boy, did he show that squirt daniel a thing or two about respecting old asian handymen.
