was emotional all weekend. not quite sure why …may be due to the fact that my brain hasn’t been overwhelmed with the usual stress from werk and finally allowed to breathe. if i was a method actor, i’d have plenty of emo-fodder to use.
back to back narnia two-fer yesterday. they got it so right (well, excepting that stupid susan lurves caspian crap). wish they’d waited for adamson to do the golden compass as well — instead we’re left with the hot mess that didn’t turn a profit. boo. should just have adamson handle all children’s lit adaptations in the future. so the unlearneds didn’t have to ruin cooper’s dark is rising. it’s ridiculous how they managed to f up so straight forward a plot. there are all kinds unfortunately.
